Itinerary
- On the first day of your Kruger to Vic Falls safari you will catch a flight from Cape Town international Airport to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit.
You will be met by a driver and travel to a luxurious private lodge in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, bordering Kruger National Park, where you will spend the next 2 nights.
After being welcomed and savouring a delicious light lunch you will have some time to relax and settle into your room. In the late afternoon you will set out on a game drive in search of the Big Five.
The safari will stop off in a scenic spot so that you can watch the majestic sunset and sip on refreshing sundowners. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner, either in the dining room or out under the stars. (Lunch and Dinner Included)
Have an early start in the morning and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a snack before heading out on a morning game drive in search of Lion or Elephant.
Alternatively, you can choose to stretch your legs while on a bush walk. This is a great way to see all the regions smaller animals and birds; it also provides great photographic opportunities.
Your safari activity will stop in the bush for coffee and rusks (a kind of dried biscuit) before continuing your explorations. Return to the lodge and tuck in to a sumptuous breakfast. Spend some time on the comfortable loungers on deck and see what wildlife wanders by.
After a delicious afternoon tea you will once again set out on a guided game drive in search of Leopard or Rhino. Enjoy sundowners and return to a tasty meal. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
Today you will enjoy breakfast, before saying your goodbyes and being driven to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where you will catch a flight to Victoria Falls Airport . Once you have completed immigration, you will be driven to the lodge where you will spend the next two nights.
In the morning, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before perhaps heading out on a tour of the Victoria Falls. Take in the splendour and beauty of the cascades. Afterwards, you can go on a walk through the beautiful forests to the Look Out Gorge Cafe where you will have a tasty lunch. .
Looking for a challenge? Then set out on a hike through the gorge below the Victoria Falls. Maybe another game drive to the elephant sanctuary to spot herds of Elephant and other wildlife .

After breakfast, say goodbye to Zimbabwe as you catch your private road transfer to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. After the border crossing, enjoy a scenic drive through the Chobe National Park. En-route, keep a lookout for buffalo, giraffes and elephant as well as many other types of wildlife.
You will be spending two nights at Chobe Marina which offers charming hospitality, beautiful accommodation and breathtaking river views. Tuck into a tasty lunch followed with some time to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Chobe River.
In the late afternoon cruise down Chobe River with a drink in hand and watch the African sunset. The river is filled with big pods of hippos and some of the biggest crocodiles in Africa.
Expect a massive dose of adventure. From safari cruises along the Chobe River to 4×4 game drives scouting for elephants (of which there are plenty), buffalos, lions, hyena and even African wild dog if you are lucky.
The birdlife is also excellent, from ubiquitous fish eagles to a myriad of herons and waders. Be sure to keep your camera fully charged throughout your stay, as there is always something to see around every corner. The Chobe truly is a mecca for wildlife-lovers.
There will also be some time to relax, perhaps have a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or unwind on the game viewing deck with a good book
After a good night’s sleep, you will awake to a vibrant, fresh breakfast with a freshly brewed pot of hot coffee. Enjoy your last breakfast on the deck as you take in the scenery surrounding the marina one last time.
You will be taken back to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, where you can spend another nights
Have a buffet lunch set out at the lodge before checking out.You will be picked up and transferred to the Victoria Falls Airport where you can board the flights.
If you feel 8 days is not quite long enough, you can easily combine this Best of Victoria Falls and Chobe Safari Package with another experience. Perhaps a few days in the Okavango Delta?
